“Tonight It’s You” doesn’t disguise itself. It’s a horror film from start to end and has enough tension packed in its 15-minute run time to perfectly whet your appetite.

CJ (Jake Robbins) has made a connection on a dating app. He ventures to a remote bungalow in the swamplands where the terror ensues.

Filmmaker Dominic Haxton sets the tone with a great atmosphere. The setting feels like a muggy southern wetland. The sounds of owls and frogs make the location feel alive.

“Tonight It’s You” will keep you on the edge as the story quickly progresses. It’s a casual hookup between twoguys. Secrecy is required and that’s understandable. The deeper meanings reveal standard scares that work.

Halfway to Halloween is a time to celebrate Indie Horror. “Tonight It’s You” is an example of a passion for filmmaking combined with a love of all things scary.
