The Movie Buff has been a long-standing supporter of indie film, and continues to have as one of its missions to promote independent films in all shapes and forms. We are more than happy to review independent films via screeners, conduct interviews with filmmakers, actors/actresses/cast, publish press releases, trailers, or Kickstarter campaigns, cover film festival promotions and/or screenings, or simply give you a shout out on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram (or of course anything we haven’t thought of!).

If you are an indie filmmaker, producer, cast member, or writer and you would like to have your film reviewed, or your work promoted in any way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We have reviewed 83 independent films to date, and are active in the festival community.

In addition, The Movie Buff runs a yearly award ceremony to celebrate the best independent films in several major categories (including both feature films and shorts) each March. This year will mark our third annual awards ceremony.
