Critics

At The Movie Buff, our critics try to be fair but aren’t afraid to tell it like it is. Our reviewers have one thing in common—they are all movie lovers with a passion for discovering not only blockbusters, but those hidden gems which you might have forgot existed. Patronizing movie theatres, video stores, Netflix,  Redbox, and even watching edited TV movies, our team will look anywhere to bring readers reviews.

Below are some of our reviewing philosophies and styles each critic brings to the table:

Ailbhe lives Cork, Ireland, and is a film graduate from Galway. Ailbhe is a lover of film, from Kurosawa to Tarantino and even the occasional Michael Bay movie. Ailbhe believes every film is innocent until proven guilty. Never judge a book by its cover and never judge a film by its trailer.20 Articles

He believes there is always something to enjoy or take away from a movie, whether it's the acting, cinematography, writing, musical score, or anything in between. Luke's all time favourite film series is "The Lord of the Rings.” Luke appreciates cinema because it educates, moves, and entertains you.
