Isle of Shoals Productions is extremely proud to announce that we have just wrapped and entered post-production on an original prestige short. “Study / Break,” filmed on location at the historic SUNY Downstate Medical Research Library, stars Gabrielle Kalomiris (“You’re Not There,” “Skipping Stones”), Michael Ironside (“Starship Troopers,” “Top Gun”) and Cherrye j. Davis (“Covered,” “Scribbles”).

The film is written, directed and produced by filmmaker Justy Kosek with post-production led by indie producer SJ Creazzo’s Dreamality Entertainment, Inc.

The film focuses on a first-year medical student, Aurie Afton (Kalomiris). Panicking before a major exam, Aurie seeks to outrun her spiraling anxiety with a break in the library. What she finds there instead forces her to confront her deepest fears about the profession she’s geared her entire life towards.

Michael Ironside is represented by MaryJane MacCallum of The Artist Representation Company and Harry Gold of TalentWorks.

Cinematography was completed by Director of Photography Rick Cook. Production and sales are being handled by Dreamality Entertainment, Inc. You can visit their website and see more about the film at the following link: https://www.dreamalityentertainment.biz.
