Hungarian Filmmaker Demeter Lóránt has just completed principal photography on his first horror feature, “Dreamland Awaits.” The film, which is in post-production, is due out in September.

“Dreamland Awaits” takes inspirations from “Jacob’s Ladder” and “The Babadook,” with tinges of H.P. Lovecraft mixed in. According to Lóránt, the film focuses on a police officer who must spend several days in a creepy house  to complete assignments for a stranger who has kidnapped his family. The film is shot in the English language and features an international cast, starring Nicholas Hackenberg (“Fauda,” “FBI: International”) and Rebecka Johnson (“Midsommar,” “The Strangers: Chapter 1”).

For more information on the film, you can visit the film’s official website here. You can follow Demeter Lóránt on IMDb and Instagram, as well the film’s production house, Full Screen Films. The teaser trailer for the film follows below. Look for more updates as “Dreamland Awaits” nears release.
