THE SEINFELD PROJECT: SEASON 8

Season 8. The first without Larry David who had been there since the beginning. 8 and 9 get bad reputation but they are actually funny. Weird, but still fun.

There are classic lines and characters. The plots are more disjointed and less organic. They act different and even look different. But once you get used to it, it settles in.

Gone is Jerry’s opening standup – replaced with cold opens. There are audio tags at the end too that make it more a sitcom.

Season 8 has great characters like Wick. Great devices like the Urban Sombrero.

And great episodes like:

The Little Kicks

The Bizarro Jerry

The Chicken Roaster

The Van Buren Boys

The Pothole

The Yada Yada

The Summer of George

Seinfeld

nevertheless…

Today is Wayne Knight’s birthday. Celebrate with Seinfeld! Hello Newman…

“Seinfeld” is available to stream on Netflix.
