    Go see this movie!
Like, don’t wait to stream this flick! If you want the real movie going experience, go see Barbie in the theater.
Ok, y’all know I like to GO to the movies? Well, tbh the theater scene is usually kinda stale popcorn these days. But right now, things are totally pink and totally poppin’!

Best time I’ve had at the movies in a long time!

The Barbie movie has become a total pop sensation. Because they did it right! Like, this could have been disastrous! You know, the Barbie doll has historically been a kind of problematic subject.
But in the hands of Greta Gerwig (writer and director) and Noah Baumbach (writer), Barbie comes to life to face all those problems. By means of subverting the patriarchy in Barbie Land, the story flips the real world upside down putting modern feminism into a very accessible and comprehensive perspective.
“By giving voice to the cognitive dissonance required to be a woman under the patriarchy you’ve robbed it of its power.”
    Margot Robbie is Barbie

It also goes without saying that Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken are just perfect. Honestly, just sit right thru the credits till the very end, because the whole cast and crew really deserve a respectful round of applause for this picture.

This movie is just so clever, managing to be constantly funny while it stays smart and delivers a very important and loving message to our world.
So put on all your pink, and GO see this movie!
