We release our seventh episode of ‘Hot Take,’ a weekly podcast recorded by Simon Watson of Extra Features Podcast for The Movie Buff. Hot Take will be a recurring podcast where Simon and/or members of The Movie Buff will talk about films being released that week, random movie topics, looks at award season, and more.

Simon is this week joined by Mark Ziobro, Managing Editor for The Movie Buff. The two discuss the Box Office recaps for “Call of the Wild,” “Emma,” and “Impractical Jokers.”

They also discuss three of this week’s upcoming releases—Leigh Whannell’s remake of “The Invisible Man” (starring Elizabeth Moss, Oliver Jackson-Cohen), John Turturro’s “The Jesus Rolls,” and “Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution.”

For whatever reason, Simon and Mark discuss—and disagree—on the proper way to drink a Coca-Cola at the movies.

Join us for more episodes of Hot Take as our partnership with Extra Features Podcast goes along. You can listen to the podcast right here on our website, or search us on iTunes or Soundcloud!

You can follow Simon and Extra Features Podcast on their website, www.extrafeatures.ca, or by searching them on iTunes. Extra Features records every other week for in-depth movie criticism, facts, and more, as well as recording interviews with independent filmmakers on a weekly basis.
