July 4th may have come and gone, but summer movies are here to stay. There’s no more evidence of this than the upcoming Pioneertown International Film Festival, slated for the last week of August, to take place in Pioneertown, California USA.

The festival, in its 1st edition, will be a unique 3-day immersive experience that will celebrated the history of Pioneertown as well as the Western movie genre and independent cinema. Additionally, PIFF takes place just northwest of Joshua Tree, originally built by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry in the 1940s as an Old West movie set.
