Seinfeld Season 6 continues with the golden era of the show. The Big Salad was the first episode I ever saw live, and it was at this point that the show became my favorite thing of all time. It hits the 100th episode mark and becomes a syndication titan.

It gets more meta. The characters are well aware of their depravity and what is funny. Jerry and George are on the “Girlfriend of the Week” cycle, with Donna Chang being one of my faves.

George is working for the Yankees and that becomes a major part of the episodes. Larry David makes his “debut” as George Steinbrenner.

    Good for you Jack!

It’s now a big hit show and there are numerous guest stars. Jon Lovitz, Jon Voight (and his infamous car) Larry Miller, Bette Middler all have spots.

We also meet Mr. Pitt, Kenny Bania, and Dr. Tim Whatley DDS. David Puddy and J Peterman – great characters that are integral parts of the later seasons. We are introduced to iconic isms The Bro, That’s a Shame, I choose not to run among others. And, after 5 years – we get Kramer’s first name.

    we’re the devils!

My favorite episodes are The Gymnast, The Mom and Pop Store, The Secretary, The Race, The Scofflaw, The Kiss Hello, The Doorman, The Jimmy, The Face Painter.

Its June 14. True Seinfeld fans will appreciate the significance.

Seinfeld is available to stream on Netflix.
