Paul Santoli/A 516 Productions teams up with Josh Libertine/Libertine Studios on their 3rd feature film together titled “The 5 Day Movie.”
Written by Paul Santoli and Daniel Gualajara (“We Want the Virus”) — expect a hilarious ride from start to finish with an impossible situation, fun characters, clever dialog and wit, and an unpredictable ending to wrap it all up. Josh Libertine has signed on as the Cinematographer and Producer of this picture. The team is set to shoot this fall in Los Angeles.
“The 5 Day Movie” follows a struggling actor whose life spirals out of control after a drunken mistake at a Hollywood bar. In a desperate attempt to save his career, he claims he’s merely “method acting” for an upcoming film. The problem? The movie doesn’t exist.
With Hollywood expecting proof and his reputation hanging by a thread, he has just five days to write, cast, shoot, and complete a feature film before the truth catches up with him. Blending old-school comedy with the chaos of independent filmmaking, “The 5 Day Movie” is a fast-paced look at ambition, friendship, and the outrageous risks people take when their dreams are on the line.
Santoli and Libertine Have Racked Up 23 Wins/Noms so Far
Santoli and Libertine have grabbed 8 Wins and 15 nominations/semi-finalist awards from their previous work together. This is not including potential upcoming noms from the second half of “We Want the Virus'” festival run, and their upcoming rom-com “NonUnion,” which is currently the editing room with Brendan Day.
Expect this DVD to sit on the shelf in between “Tropic Thunder” and “Bowfinger.”
