Fans of the “X-Men” franchise have followed the Wolverine story arch with mixed emotions. His inclusion in the 2000 foray “X-Men” was fan pleasing, but the character was followed up with some hit or miss attempts such as “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” (alongside actor Liev Schrieber) as well as a second solo film, titled simply “The Wolverine.”
