As we roll into the second month of 2017, and Oscars are approaching, it’s the time to look back at the best (and sometimes worst) films we’ve seen in 2016.

From indie, to blockbuster, to those unsung films we’ve discovered trolling Netflix or bargain DVD bins, we have catogorized our favorites, or least favorites into our yearly “Best of” list.
